Flowers of spring, a collection of contemporary clothing, is inspired from the beauty of nature around us. The colour palette signifies a pleasant sunny day. Made from pure cotton and finely crafted, handblock printed fabrics, created by skilled artisans from ‘chippa’ community of Rajasthan.
This collection of daytime dresses and kurtas with co-ords, is fresh, breezy, feminine and elegant. Combination of floral handblock prints with block printed stripes, use of reverse fabric and kantha handwork are some of the fine details that enhances the beauty of each garment.
With our collection PIAFU, we present a range of garments that are a symbol of handmade luxury. The fabrics used are finest of the handloom cotton, accentuated with geometric motifs and handwork.
This collection is a tribute to the lesser-known beautiful craft of ‘Tangaliya’, which is enriched with history of 700 years. In today’s time only a handful of weavers are left who still practice this craft. With PIAFU, we wish to bring the Tangaliya weaving, Dangasia community to spotlight. It is one of those crafts which are simply elegant and mesmerizing.
