Our Story

In a quiet moment, when fabric slips through your fingers, there’s a story being told, of hands that wove it, of traditions passed down through generations, of the land it comes from. Thousand Folds was born from this love for textiles, a deep reverence for the past, and a vision to weave it seamlessly into the present.
Founded by Preeti Anand, a designer with nearly two decades of experience in fashion and textiles, Thousand Folds is a tribute to heritage craftsmanship. Having spent years in the corporate fashion world and then carving her own path as an entrepreneur, Preeti’s journey has been shaped by an intuitive understanding of design, a keen eye for market trends, and an unshakable belief in the artistry of Indian textiles.

At Thousand Folds, we work at the intersection of tradition and modernity, creating clothing that is timeless yet relevant. Our collections celebrate India’s rich textile legacy, reinterpreted for today’s world. We collaborate with master artisans handloom weavers, block printers, dyers, who bring their generations of skill to every piece we create. Whether it’s the whisper-light cotton mulmuls reminiscent of our grandmothers’ sarees, the earthy textures of handwoven khadi, or the intricate poetry of block-printed patterns, our work is a conversation between heritage and contemporary aesthetics.
Beyond clothing, Thousand Folds is also a space for design exploration. We offer consultancy services, helping brands and businesses craft meaningful textile stories. From conceptualizing collections to guiding ethical sourcing and sustainable production, we bring a thoughtful, market-savvy approach to design.
Join us on this journey, where every piece tells a story and every weave holds a whisper of the past, folded into the present.
